Help us keep kids in Angus warm this winter

Wednesday 20th November 2019

In September 2019, we made several applications to a local initiative to help families in Angus ensure their children have a warm coat through the winter months. Unfortunately, the demand on the appeal this year was overwhelming and the majority of the applications submitted were unsuccessful.

So we are asking you…Can you help a family in need?
Do you have any children’s coats, hats, gloves, or winter boots - in ‘as good as new’ condition that you could donate to families in need this Winter?

We are collecting now so, if you can, please drop off any donations to Angus Carers Centre (Ground Floor) 8 Grant Road, Arbroath. If you would like to donate an item of child’s clothing but cannot get to Angus Carers Centre, please get in touch by calling 01241 439157 and we may be able to help.

Donated items will be available for Carers and Young Carers, registered with our service, to come and take a look at. The drop-in for this will be between 9.30am and 12.30pm Mon-Fri, with an extra drop-in session available on Tuesdays between 3pm and 4.30pm. These drop-in sessions will run until Friday 20 December 2019.

We will post updates about this project as soon as we have items available.

So, come on, you wonderful people! Help out local families and spread a little warmth this Winter.
