Working out which benefits you can claim and how much money you are entitled to can be complicated and confusing. Angus CAB will be delivering a talk on what benefits are out there for carers to claim and what knock-on effects, if any, this could have on cared for persons. This talk will include Carers’ Allowance, the new Carers’ Allowance Supplement, Universal Credit, Caring & Work – Better-off calculations, Council Tax Reduction and National Insurance Credits and The Young Carer Grant. Angus CAB will be on hand after their talk to take any questions in a confidential space.
