The Park Hotel in Montrose, which has been a generous supporter of our Respitality project, has recently embarked on a new venture to improve the lives of people with disabilities. In partnership with the Edinburgh-based technology firm, Neatebox, the Park Hotel has agreed to be one of the venues where Neatebox’s new customer service app, ‘Welcome’, can be tested by members of the public.
Designed by Gavin Neate, a former guide dog mobility instructor, ‘Welcome’ is a free app that supports disabled people when checking in to accommodation providers, and it also ensures that customer service staff are well-trained in the interactions. The free app allows you to communicate your needs to the staff and automatically notifies them when you arrive.
