Scottish Government Launches Consultation to Hear the Views of Unpaid Carers for the Terminally Ill

Wednesday 20th February 2019

As part of the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016, the Scottish Government is looking to hear the views of unpaid carers of people who are terminally ill, with a life expectancy of up to six months.

The views of carers gathered from this consultation will be used to inform regulations that will set prioritised time limits for the preparation of adult carer support plans and young carer statements for carers of people who are terminally ill.

The consultation paper is available on this web page:

Once you have read the consultation paper, please complete the online survey which is listed (i.e. the link that says 'Begin consultation') at the foot of the same web page.
