Volunteer is presented with award for completing five hundred hours of service at Angus Carers Centre

Monday 23rd December 2019

Congratulations to our volunteer, James Anderson, aged 16, for gaining The Saltire Award ‘The Ascent’, which recognises his 500 hours of volunteering.

James volunteers at Angus Carers Centre with our Families Programme and also helps with our fundraising events.

He also takes on the seemingly endless task of keeping our car park litter-free.

James is also active in his community, volunteering at The Hub@Friockheim, and the award also recognises his volunteering at Carnoustie High School.

Jim Dallas, volunteer co-ordinator at Angus Carers Centrem, cannot praise James enough, taking on tasks with good cheer and enthusiasm.
